Clinical Psychologist – Older Adults, PhD, PsyD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Deliver evidence-driven psychotherapy to senior adults through telehealth platforms.

• Develop personalized treatment strategies tailored to each patient’s objectives and requirements.

• Oversee an independent caseload and make clinical decisions with the backing of the care team.

• Complete documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) utilizing AI-assisted notes.

• Engage in regular, compensated case consultations with seasoned clinical leaders.

• Conduct telehealth therapy sessions entirely from the comfort of home.

• Collaborate with Care Navigators, Healthcare Advocates, Clinical Quality Leads, and the provider support team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside within the United States.

• Possess a Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited institution.

• Hold an active, independent license to practice psychology in the state where this role is offered.

• Previous experience with older adult or geriatric populations is preferred.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health records is essential.

• Experience with Medicare billing is advantageous.

• Willingness to commit to at least 15 hours per week for 1099 contractor positions or 25 hours per week for W2 employee roles is required.

• Must maintain an active, unrestricted license allowing for independent practice without the need for clinical supervision.
