Clinical Psychologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough autism diagnostic evaluations through telehealth for children and adolescents in New Mexico.

• Assess developmental, behavioral, medical, educational, and family histories.

• Implement and analyze evidence-based diagnostic instruments and clinical assessments.

• Compose clear and timely diagnostic reports that comply with payer and school standards.

• Communicate findings and subsequent steps to caregivers with empathy and clarity.

• Collaborate with referring providers.

• Develop diagnostic protocols, report templates, and quality benchmarks.

• Partner with product and operations teams to enhance clinical tools.

• Concentrate on evaluations while the company manages scheduling, insurance, billing, and credentialing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctoral degree (PhD/PsyD) in psychology from an APA-accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a psychologist in good standing, with no disciplinary actions recorded.

• Either currently licensed in New Mexico or licensed in another state and willing to obtain New Mexico licensure.

• Proven experience in diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorder.

• Strong skills in assessment, clinical interviewing, and report writing.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• Proficiency with relevant software.

• Exceptional judgment, empathy, and communication skills with families.

• Availability to work as a 1099 contractor.

• Preferred: Participation in or eligibility for PSYPACT.

• Preferred: Experience with telehealth-based diagnostic evaluations.

• Preferred: Familiarity with evidence-based autism assessment tools, including ADI-R, CARS-2, BOSA/TELE-ASD-PEDS, or similar instruments.

• Preferred: Experience working with diverse pediatric and family populations, including those covered by Medicaid.

• Preferred: Interest in developing systems, processes, and standards from the ground up.

• Preferred: Previous experience in startup or early-stage companies.

• Authorization to work in the United States.
