Clinical Psychologist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough autism diagnostic evaluations via telehealth for children and adolescents in New Mexico.

• Assess developmental, behavioral, medical, educational, and family histories.

• Administer and interpret evidence-based diagnostic instruments and clinical assessments.

• Produce clear and timely diagnostic reports that meet payer and school requirements.

• Communicate findings and next steps to caregivers with empathy and clarity.

• Collaborate with referring providers.

• Develop diagnostic protocols, report templates, and quality assurance standards.

• Partner with product and operations teams to enhance clinical tools.

• Concentrate on evaluations while the company manages scheduling, insurance, billing, and credentialing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctoral degree (PhD/PsyD) in psychology from an APA-accredited institution.

• Current psychologist licensure in good standing, free from disciplinary actions.

• Licensed in New Mexico, or licensed in another state with eligibility and willingness to obtain New Mexico licensure.

• Proven experience in diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorder.

• Strong skills in assessment, clinical interviewing, and report writing.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

• Proficient in relevant software.

• Exceptional judgment, empathy, and communication skills with families.

• Availability to work as a 1099 contractor.

• PSYPACT participation or eligibility is preferred.

• Experience with telehealth-delivered diagnostic evaluations is preferred.

• Familiarity with evidence-based autism assessment tools such as ADI-R, CARS-2, BOSA/TELE-ASD-PEDS, or similar is preferred.

• Experience serving diverse pediatric and family populations, including those covered by Medicaid, is preferred.

• Interest in developing systems, processes, and standards from the ground up is preferred.

• Prior experience in startup or early-stage companies is preferred.
