Clinical Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Lead and/or assist regional teams in executing projects and delivering services

• Act as the main point of contact between the Clinical team and ECL

• Supervise project implementation and maintain proactive, timely communication with clients

• Ensure precise, prompt, and efficient execution of studies in accordance with clinical protocols and quotes

• Guarantee adherence to ECL project management standards and procedures

• Secure formal client approval on specifications and amendments prior to production

• Deliver study setup, execution, and closure on schedule, fully compliant with specifications, and within budget

• Oversee corrective actions and escalate any deviations to the relevant leaders

• Manage the budgets and finances of assigned studies

• Maintain a complete, accurate, and inspection-ready Study File

• Assist in sales bid processes to secure both repeat and new long-term business

• Collaborate with QA, attend study audits, and present the Study File

• Ensure prompt resolution of corrective actions

• Execute projects within established timelines and budget constraints

• Lead, manage, and provide support for assigned projects

• Assist Global Project Managers with global studies in the region when applicable

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare/life sciences (laboratory or clinical services preferred), or substantial industry experience (5+ years) in Central Lab

• At least 2–4 years of Project Management experience in complex project service sectors

• Minimum of 2–4 years of relevant clinical project experience with a CRO or Sponsor organization

• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restrictions or sponsorship

• Willingness to travel as necessary

• Proficient in English; knowledge of other languages relevant to operating sites and global clients is advantageous

• Strong customer focus and commitment to quality

• Excellent communication abilities

• Capability to assimilate and rationalize substantial amounts of information and identify the best course of action

• Good organizational and analytical skills

• Client service orientation and performance-driven mindset
