Clinical Project Leader – Senior Project Leader, Biotech

📋 Description

• Solely accountable for all responsibilities and deliverables of the Project Leader role in accordance with SOPs for assigned projects.

• Create and sustain a formal project plan that includes all key milestones, budgets, and resources allocated to specific tasks and outcomes.

• Conduct initial and continuous risk management: Identify potential project risks, implement contingency plans, mitigate actual risks in collaboration with team members, and keep the client informed about risks and contingencies.

• Oversee and ensure first-time quality on project deliverables: Set quality standards for the project that foster individual and team commitment to quality.

• Cultivate and manage the client relationship: Take ownership of the client relationship at the study level and ensure effective communication to maintain high client satisfaction.

• Comprehend and manage the project P&L: Administer the project in line with the budget, including revenue recognition and forecasting, resource management, pass-through management (review, regular reconciliation, and forecasting), as well as handling changes in scope and all project invoicing tasks.

• Lead the cross-functional project team: Support all stakeholders in achieving successful study completion while ensuring high client satisfaction.

• Represent the Project Leadership function in external client meetings and presentations, such as Bid Pursuit Meetings, Investigator Meetings, or others as necessary.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of education (preferably in a Science or Medical related field).

• An advanced degree is preferred.

• Capability to adopt a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and project planning software.

• Extensive previous experience in CRO and a solid grasp of Phase I, II-III clinical trial project management, along with proven project leadership skills are crucial.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Therapeutic Areas: Oncology is essential, with desirable knowledge in Dermatology, Women's Health, Neurology, Rare Disease, and Radiopharmaceuticals.

• Strong command of the written and spoken English language is essential.

• Essential skills in financial management and client relationship development, as well as experience with bid defense activities.

• Familiarity with standard business and eClinical systems utilized in Clinical Research is desirable.

• Knowledge of ICH and GCP regulations in relevant regions.

• Solid understanding of clinical research and protocol design.
