Clinical Pharmacist – Clinical Pharmacy Programs, Bilingual – Cantonese/Mandarin

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engage directly with patients to oversee chronic condition management through customized care strategies.

• Create and distribute educational resources tailored to the unique needs of the local community.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to refine disease management protocols.

• Assist members and providers in navigating their benefits to ensure healthcare remains accessible and affordable.

• Conduct thorough medication evaluations for members with intricate medication regimens.

• Identify and resolve issues related to drug therapy to enhance care and improve health outcomes.

• Aim for “5-Star” performance on pharmacy-related clinical metrics.

• Address therapy gaps, such as statin initiation for diabetes or cardiovascular health.

• Interact empathetically with members to assist them in achieving their individual health objectives.

• Participate in on-call rotations to address urgent pharmacy needs.

• Serve as a clinical subject matter expert for the development of pharmacy models.

• Mentor and train the broader team on pharmacotherapy and related practice topics.

• Utilize AI-enabled clinical tools for documentation and identification of drug therapy issues, providing feedback to enhance tool accuracy and workflow efficiency.

• Obtain additional state licensure promptly.

• Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

• Report to the Senior Manager, Clinical Pharmacy, while also having indirect reporting relationships with other clinical and operational leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• A licensed pharmacist with a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in direct patient care.

• Must hold state licensure in good standing in one of the following states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Hawai’i, Indiana, Missouri, Ohio, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas.

• Required to obtain licensure in at least 5 states, with additional states as necessary.

• Licensure must be in good standing, without any restrictions or sanctions.

• Travel may be necessary to acquire additional licensure.

• Reside in the Mountain, Pacific, or Hawaiian time zones, or be able to support work during standard clinic hours in those time zones.

• Fluent proficiency in Cantonese/Mandarin is required.

• Experience in implementing or working under collaborative pharmacy practice agreements is preferred.

• Board certification or experience in complex geriatric care, behavioral health, and/or lipid management is preferred.

• Comfortable using AI-assisted clinical tools and providing feedback to enhance their application.

• Licensure in at least 3 of the following states at the time of application is preferred: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawai’i, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington.

• Additional consideration for those with fluent proficiency in Tagalog, Japanese, and Ilocano.
