Clinical Pharmacist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Provide direct counseling and education regarding prescription medications, over-the-counter products, and health-related subjects.

• Conduct reviews of medication therapy and monitor patterns of medication utilization.

• Identify opportunities to enhance patient outcomes.

• Explain medication instructions, potential side effects, and possible drug interactions.

• Review and evaluate medication profiles for appropriateness, accuracy, and safety.

• Assist with prescription processing, inventory management, and ensure accuracy in medication orders.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers and interdisciplinary partners to optimize medication therapy and treatment plans.

• Verify prescriptions and identify contraindications or interactions.

• Support safe practices in medication dispensing.

• Participate in immunization initiatives and disease management programs.

• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and industry standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.

• Licensed Pharmacist in the state of residence.

• Advanced problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• In-depth knowledge of medical terminology.

• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.

• Growth mindset skills, including agility and the development of self and others.

• Proficient execution and delivery skills, including planning, delivering, and supporting work.

• Ability to assess the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and make informed decisions.

• Advanced digital literacy skills.

• Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD).
