This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Deliver precise, high-quality, and timely reporting and analysis of laboratory submissions, encompassing cytology, hematology, biochemistry, serology, and microbiology.
• Offer Point of Care diagnostic assistance.
• Collaborate with peers within the Pathologist group and VPG.
• Engage with laboratory teams to facilitate daily diagnostic operations.
• Respond promptly, professionally, and clearly to phone calls, emails, and inquiries from clients or laboratories.
• Develop a thorough understanding of VPG's client-facing portal, internal LIMS, request codes, and anticipated turnaround times.
• Contribute to client education, business development, marketing initiatives, projects, and both internal and external research.
• Participate in regular meetings with Pathologists, laboratories, and VPG.
• Uphold and exemplify VPG's values and behaviors.
• Complete all required statutory, mandatory, and essential training while ensuring ongoing competency.
• Maintain professional standards through Continuing Professional Development (CPD), supporting MRCVS, Board Certified, and Specialist status.
• Board certification in Clinical Pathology — ACVP or ECVP.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Strong dedication to diagnostic quality, customer service, and professional standards.
• Prior experience in a diagnostic laboratory setting (desirable).
