Clinical Nurse Educator – Per Diem

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Educate and train Registered Nurses and Physicians on patient and hemodynamic monitoring systems.

• Deliver peer-to-peer training and in-service education to nurses, physicians, and hospital personnel for the implementation of medical devices.

• Evaluate specific educational needs of clients and work collaboratively with staff to ensure a positive learning experience.

• Utilize clinical nursing knowledge to respond to inquiries and resolve concerns related to the medical device.

• Provide clients with updates, reports, and feedback during and after in-service engagements.

• Travel on a regional and national level to meet customer requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Must possess an active and unrestricted RN license.

• At least 3 years of experience in critical care (ICU or ER) within a hospital environment in the last 5 years is required.

• Proficiency in hemodynamics and experience with pressure lines is necessary.

• Willingness to travel locally, regionally, and nationally is essential.

• Comfort with basic software applications is required.

• Availability for a minimum of 2 weeks per month is mandatory.

• A valid driver's license is required, and the driving record will be reviewed prior to hiring.

• Candidate must reside within 1 hour of a major airport.

• Authorization to work in the US without visa sponsorship is necessary.

• Compliance with healthcare facility credentialing and specified immunization requirements may be required, including MMR, Varicella, negative TB test, Tdap, Hepatitis B, seasonal influenza, and COVID-19 primary series (and boosters where applicable).
