Clinical Nurse Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver training and consultation on ICU Medical’s clinical products, software, and clinical services initiatives.

• Collaborate as part of a cross-functional team that includes Project Managers, Nurses, and Pharmacists.

• Act as the Clinical Nursing Lead while working closely with Pharmacy, Nursing, IT, Project Management, and Materials Management.

• Facilitate the integration of ICU Medical infusion devices with EHR vendors to ensure accurate medication administration at the bedside.

• Evaluate current clinical workflows and provide consultation on future improvements.

• Strategically plan, implement, and follow up on educational programs for hospital clinicians utilizing infusion devices.

• Raise risks and customer concerns to the project manager as needed.

• Offer support to customers during go-live and post-go-live phases for ICU Medical products and solutions.

• Deliver presentations to diverse audiences in various environments.

• Serve as the Clinical Subject Matter Expert for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Nursing, is essential.

• A current US RN license is required.

• At least 7 years of recent RN experience is necessary, preferably in oncology, trauma, emergency department, or critical care settings.

• Experience in a leadership position within nursing is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with infusion systems, safety software, or EMR is advantageous.

• Experience in leading or participating in virtual meetings is preferred.

• Self-driven and highly organized, with the ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Knowledge of conducting web-based meetings is highly preferred.

• Analytical skills and a solid understanding of statistics are desired.

• Willingness to travel 20–50% of the time.

• Capacity to work in a professional office setting and utilize standard office equipment.
