This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +10 more states.
• Observe live operating room activities in real-time to ensure model accuracy and validate event recognition.
• React appropriately during live sessions following company protocols, based on the events observed or model performance.
• Precisely identify, timestamp, and label clinically significant events.
• Achieve daily annotation goals while upholding necessary quality standards.
• Recognize and report anomalies, inaccuracies, unexpected model behaviors, or any issues impacting customer experience or data integrity.
• Adjust to revised project guidelines and integrate updates into daily operations.
• Record escalations with case ID, timestamp, and a brief description.
• Communicate systemic data concerns and suggest enhancements to annotation guidelines, examples, or tools.
• A minimum of 3+ years of practical experience with surgical workflows, including knowledge of OR procedures, equipment, and standard operating practices.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to use multiple software applications simultaneously with confidence.
• Must be capable of working from a secure, private environment that is free from distractions.
• Candidates must ensure their remote workspace complies with confidentiality standards for real-time access to live surgical footage and sensitive patient and clinical data.
• Availability to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, in accordance with surgical scheduling needs.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) data, including its structure, terminology, and conventions, is preferred but not mandatory.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a systematic, process-oriented approach to quality assurance.
• Outstanding communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with a remote, internationally distributed team.
