Clinical Manager – Psychological Assessments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Perform psychological evaluations and generate thorough, high-quality clinical reports.

• Conduct 2–3 assessments weekly while adhering to specified service, quality, and accreditation criteria.

• Offer clinical consultation and advice to staff and external assessment partners.

• Aid in quality assurance initiatives, which include assessment protocols, psychometric evaluations, report templates, and best practices.

• Foster strong connections with external assessors and relay updates regarding processes and standards.

• Recognize training and development needs within the assessor network and assist in coaching and onboarding efforts.

• Facilitate workshops, educational presentations, and orientation sessions as needed.

• Support client meetings and address inquiries from clients and internal stakeholders related to assessment services.

• Contribute to enhancements in service delivery, review client feedback, and resolve service-related issues.

• Play a role in the continuous improvement of assessment services and the promotion of clinical excellence throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree in Psychology is mandatory.

• Registration as a Psychologist with the relevant provincial regulatory authority is required.

• At least 5 years of clinical experience in psychology, with a focus on assessment and diagnosis.

• Strong understanding of DSM-5-TR diagnostic categories, especially in substance use and adult mental health disorders.

• Experience in psychometric testing, clinical interviewing, and psychological assessment is essential.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in French is an advantage.

• Strong organizational and time management abilities with the capacity to handle multiple priorities.

• Competence in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Outstanding interpersonal, presentation, consultation, and customer service skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external clinician networks.

• Dedication to quality improvement, adherence to professional standards, and ethical clinical practice.

• Experience in providing substance use assessments and treatment recommendations is a plus (if applicable).

• Understanding and recognition of the importance of measurement-based care in supporting patients/clients to guide clinical decision-making; relevant experience is beneficial.
