
Clinical Manager – Enabling Technologies

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee and mentor Enabling Technologies Clinical Consultant staff through field visits, meetings, and direct interactions.
• Manage the clinical support performance for Robotic Assisted Surgery platforms and Neurosurgery portfolios.
• Ensure effective scheduling of case coverage and service work.
• Coordinate sales and clinical initiatives throughout the district.
• Schedule resources for clinical events in collaboration with the Enabling Technologies District Manager.
• Establish objectives, assess performance, provide feedback and coaching, and document performance metrics.
• Implement performance enhancement plans and corrective actions as necessary.
• Communicate and reinforce Medtronic’s Mission, strategies, initiatives, objectives, and activities.
• Develop strategies to achieve both short- and long-term business goals related to clinical operations.
• Lead and inspire employees to meet clinical objectives.
• Document field visits and offer recommendations for improvement.
• Supervise Clinical Consultant training and development in product knowledge and competitive analysis.
• Guide employees in teamwork, time and task management, and career advancement.
• Support the creation of Individual Development Plans.
• Identify and address clinical opportunities through analytics, field visits, coaching, and measurable projects.
• Provide guidance on asset, expense, and budget management.
• Carry out cost center, expense, email, and other administrative responsibilities.
• Adhere to quality procedures and ensure compliance with quality systems.
• Collaborate with the District Manager and HR to recruit and onboard new candidates.
• Maintain a diverse talent pool for future hiring opportunities.
• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Must currently reside within the Southern California territory.
• Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy are required.
• Driving record will be evaluated.
• Ability to drive approximately 50% of the time within the designated territory.
• Willingness to travel by air, car, or other means, which may include overnight trips.
• Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout employment.
• For degrees obtained outside the United States, the degree must fulfill 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A).
• Capability to manage clinical support for Robotic Assisted Surgery platforms and Neurosurgery portfolios.
• Familiarity with clinical coverage requirements.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and processes simultaneously.
• Capability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Required proficiency in close and distance vision.
• Ability to sit, talk, hear, stand, walk, and use hands to manipulate objects, tools, or controls.
