Clinical Educator, RN

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and refresh orientation programs that integrate the latest policies, procedures, and clinical expertise for REI personnel.

• Collaborate with HR to ensure the Onboarding Program effectively addresses the requirements of new clinical staff.

• Deliver foundational REI training for new hires and advanced educational opportunities for nursing clinical staff.

• Create, implement, and revise clinical competencies for orientation, training, and educational purposes.

• Oversee the orientation process for new clinical staff.

• Offer continuous education and support to new clinical employees throughout and after their introductory phase.

• Plan, prepare, and maintain precise and relevant educational resources.

• Assess and review instructional materials across various media and formats.

• Teach clinical content, facilitate orientation and professional development, and provide remediation as necessary.

• Develop continuing education initiatives for clinical personnel.

• Engage in teaching SG University courses.

• Maintain documentation of training and educational activities.

• Travel to various offices to orient, train, educate, mentor, and evaluate staff.

• Instruct staff on new policies and procedures alongside Office Supervisors/Managers.

• Train staff on the electronic medical record system with the Clinical Applications Specialist.

• Assess the effectiveness of educational programming.

⛳️ Requirements

• RN license is mandatory.

• A Bachelor’s degree in nursing, healthcare administration, education, or business management is preferred.

• A current compact state RN license without restrictions is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in women’s healthcare, including 3 years as a REI nurse coordinator at Shady Grove Fertility, is essential.

• Completion of the ASRM REI Nurse Certificate Course within the first year of taking this position, if not already completed.

• Current CPR certification or obtained within one month of employment.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the capability to establish professional relationships with diverse patients, families, physicians, staff, and management.

• Ability to resolve conflicts promptly and professionally.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey information accurately and succinctly.

• Capacity to work independently while exercising sound judgment.

• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Competence in managing an independent caseload of patients.

• Highly organized with the ability to plan, supervise, and inspire staff.

• Proven track record in continuous quality improvement, customer service, and team building.

• Familiarity with clinical procedures, program operations, computer software, and equipment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

• Willingness to travel to SGF locations as required.
