Clinical Educator, Rare Blood Disorders, Oncology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provide education to healthcare providers using authorized resources prior to treating patients as prescribed.

• Inform staff about disease states, product information, procurement, administration, and support services following prescription.

• Create and maintain strategic account plans while utilizing CRM tools to manage the territory and document activities.

• Execute educational programming for healthcare provider staff using sanctioned resources.

• Ensure that patients receive education and do not encounter unnecessary obstacles to their therapy.

• Relay treatment barriers to prescribers and office personnel.

• Work collaboratively with field partners to minimize the time it takes for prescribed patients to start their therapy.

• Assist with patient access, enrollment, and adherence by collaborating with field teams and case managers.

• Educate patients with ITP, aTTP, and multiple myeloma on their conditions and the products available to them.

• Conduct both branded and unbranded live and virtual educational programs for patients.

• Promote ongoing adherence to prescribed therapies.

• Represent Sanofi at local patient events and engage with patient communities.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient engagement activities in the CRM system.

• Ensure adherence to corporate, industry, legal, and regulatory standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A BA/BS Degree is mandatory.

• A background in nursing or clinical practice is essential.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is required.

• At least 3 years of experience in a field educator role (pharmaceutical sales, pharmaceutical clinical educator, hospital, or home health) is necessary.

• Familiarity with medical and pharmacy benefit products is required.

• Exceptional presentation skills are a must.

• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to adjust to changes in a dynamic, collaborative environment are essential.

• Proficiency in English is required; bilingual Spanish is preferred.

• Proven success in collaborating with cross-functional teams is needed.

• Technical aptitude to navigate and learn various complex platforms is necessary.

• Must meet requirements for hospital credentialing.

• Willingness to travel up to 60% within the designated territory is required.

• Availability to work occasional weekends and evenings is necessary.

• A valid Driver’s License is required.

• Completion of fleet safety training and maintenance of an acceptable driving record is necessary.

• Experience in Rare Disease, Hematology/Oncology, or Apheresis is preferred.

• Prior experience with pharmaceutical product launches is preferred.
