Clinical Education/Application Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Provide clinical education on Siemens CT imaging systems and components via in-person, remote, or virtual training sessions.

• Represent Siemens Healthineers and the Clinical Education team with professionalism.

• Work collaboratively with modality team members to cultivate clinically relevant knowledge and expertise.

• Assist with Education and Workforce Solutions deliverables, including Siemens FlexForce™ Tech and FlexForce™ Coach engagements.

• Prepare documentation approved by regulatory bodies for end-user training.

• Develop, update, and maintain educational materials and training offerings.

• Effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Educate technologists, physicians, physicists, and other personnel on the safe and effective use of Siemens equipment.

• Provide training for newly installed systems, software/hardware upgrades, and ongoing or remedial training needs.

• Oversee timecards, travel arrangements, expense reporting and reconciliation, vendor credentialing, training in-service reports, and various administrative tasks.

• Independently manage time, priorities, projects, travel, and administrative duties.

• Organize and facilitate training activities that enhance clinical outcomes, patient care, workflow, and productivity.

• Maintain clinical and technical proficiency through ongoing education and Siemens training programs.

• Travel primarily on weekdays with two to four overnight stays per week; travel may extend beyond the designated geography.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid ARRT Certification/Licensure in Computed Tomography is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) is preferred.

• A minimum of 3 years of recent clinical CT scanning experience on current Siemens CT equipment and software is required.

• Over 5 years of clinical CT scanning experience is preferred.

• Proficient in routine CT imaging using contemporary Siemens CT systems is required.

• Proficiency in Cardiac CT (including CaSc, CCTA, TAVR, etc.), Dual Energy CT, CT Intervention, Neuro Perfusion, Pediatric Imaging, and syngo.via post-processing is preferred.

• Must reside within one hour of the airport associated with the position posted.

• Teaching experience is preferred.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Reliable high-speed internet access at home is required.

• Strong organizational and project management skills are necessary.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).

• Must comply with relevant client Vendor Credentialing requirements, which may include valid identification, criminal background checks, drug screenings, immunizations, annual TB testing, and healthcare training.

• Must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control laws.
