This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Oversee daily sales operations for LGC Clinical Diagnostics within a designated territory.
• Foster sales growth and develop enduring business relationships with end-user accounts for diagnostic and genomics product lines.
• Build consultative relationships with both new and existing accounts across all product offerings.
• Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of products and their significance and application in clinical laboratories.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales management, customer service, accounting, logistics, and technical support teams to enhance sales efforts.
• Proactively and continuously assess, clarify, and validate customer needs.
• Update and keep the Customer Relationship Management database current.
• Provide ongoing product education to ensure customer loyalty.
• Create strategic customer account plans that align with company standards.
• Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to customers.
• Uphold customer satisfaction in accordance with company standards.
• Complete necessary training and development objectives within assigned timeframes.
• Attend tradeshows both within and outside the assigned territory as needed.
• Knowledge of customer retention, continuous improvement, high performance standards, partnership, and attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of Clinical Laboratory testing, including the supporting technology.
• Ability to meet the needs of both internal and external customers.
• Exceptional written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
• Proven history of meeting tight deadlines while working independently and resolving problems with diligence, meticulousness, and resourcefulness.
• Capability to thrive in collaborative team environments.
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple and shifting priorities.
• Strong focus on execution and achieving results.
• Excellent follow-through skills.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork capabilities, with the ability to communicate at all organizational levels.
• A mindset geared towards continuous learning and a keen interest in improving processes and tactics.
• BA/BS degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology, Chemistry, Business, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of direct technical sales experience, with preference given to those with Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory experience.
• Experience with CRM systems preferred; familiarity with Salesforce.com is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Remote home-based position.
