This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Propel sales expansion and foster enduring business partnerships for diagnostic and genomic product lines.
• Formulate account strategies, engage key decision makers, and enhance business across all product offerings.
• Oversee accounts within the designated territory and implement sales initiatives.
• Craft detailed business strategies to achieve or surpass sales growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Travel to client locations with a minimum expected travel commitment of 50%.
• Design strategic account plans aimed at boosting revenue and meeting targets.
• Showcase LGC corporate capabilities through presentations and educational seminars.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of LGC products and services as well as competitor offerings.
• Provide business forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Utilize sales, marketing, administrative, tracking, and expense tools, including SalesForce.com.
• Recognize opportunities, prospect, qualify, and cultivate customer relationships.
• Share best practices in sales and account management while supporting team members.
• Collaborate with internal and external resources to implement account strategies.
• Attend trade shows as necessary.
• Communicate promptly and effectively with sales management, administration, and other departments.
• Minimum of five years of experience in selling IVD, biological, chemistry, immunoassay, and/or clinical products within the in vitro diagnostic market.
• Proven experience in establishing partnerships with mid-level and senior decision makers.
• Strong understanding of Strategic and Consultative Selling.
• Outstanding presentation skills are essential.
• Proficient computer skills to organize customer data, pricing, proposals, and other critical information.
• Familiarity with SalesForce.com and MS Office applications is required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities for effective collaboration in a matrix organization.
• Highly developed forecasting skills and the capability to produce accurate and timely reports.
• BA/BS degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology, Chemistry, Business, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of direct technical sales experience; experience in clinical diagnostic laboratories is preferred.
• Confidentiality and discretion are mandatory.
• Ethical and professional behavior is required at all times.
• Ability to learn and convey technical product details effectively.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to identify customer needs.
• Capability to work independently and manage multiple projects and timelines.
• Critical thinking and skills in information analysis, synthesis, and evaluation.
