This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Deliver clinical services and promote as well as sell Tandem Diabetes products within a designated territory in collaboration with a Territory Manager.
• Strategize and reach sales targets through clinical endorsement of Tandem products.
• Identify potential clients and cultivate business relationships to enhance product and clinical-services sales.
• Offer clinical and sales assistance, along with product education to trainers, physicians, and their staff.
• Provide comprehensive Tandem product training and support to patients.
• Utilize customer training and clinical knowledge to achieve positive clinical results and boost sales.
• Formulate strategies with the Territory Manager to tackle clinical issues and maintain existing relationships.
• Identify sales opportunities and collect prospecting data.
• Advocate for Tandem’s market position and distinguish its products and clinical services.
• Inform prospects and customers about healthcare trends, web-based solutions, Tandem products, services, outcomes, and population health management.
• Complete product training, documentation, and communications with healthcare professionals according to company policy.
• Build and sustain professional relationships with healthcare professionals.
• Conduct initial and ongoing recertification for Tandem Pump Trainers.
• Work together with Customer Technical Support Specialists and Clinical Support Specialists on post-sale product concerns and patient education requirements.
• Update CRM records regarding business activities within the assigned territory.
• Maintain a territory call cycle to optimize time with prospects and clients.
• Ensure adherence to privacy/HIPAA and other regulatory, legal, and safety standards.
• Report to the Regional Sales Manager for sales and business process responsibilities and collaborate with the Regional Clinical Manager on clinical duties, objectives, and compliance.
• RN, RD, or RPh, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant job experience.
• BSN is preferred.
• Advanced Diabetes Education Professional Credential: CDCES or BC-ADM certification or eligibility.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in coordinating and delivering patient education on the technical use of diabetes technology.
• Experience with video remote education is preferred.
• Ability to effectively engage with patients, referral sources, and healthcare professionals.
• Strong communication skills as a clinical expert on diabetes, diabetes technology, Automated Insulin Delivery, and diabetes management software systems.
• Proficient in presenting educational content clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic market environment.
• At least 1 year of related experience in the diabetes/endocrinology industry is preferred.
• Willingness to travel at least 80% within the assigned territory.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, required auto insurance, and a clean driving record as per company policy.
• Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S. is required.
