Clinical Development & Education Specialist – Electrophysiology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Implement strategic direction based on competitor accounts in collaboration with the territory manager and assist the sales team in facilitating trials and the utilization of Abbott technology.

• Offer primary technical assistance to physicians and nurses during electrophysiology procedures using Abbott equipment within the designated territory.

• Onboard new centers and physicians.

• Promote the adoption of Abbott technologies through trials, product evaluations, and strategic account initiatives in partnership with Sales.

• Provide hands-on technical and clinical assistance during electrophysiology procedures.

• Develop and deliver targeted training programs for physicians, healthcare professionals, and internal teams.

• Support Train-the-Trainer initiatives and lend clinical expertise to customer presentations and internal meetings.

• Assist in product launches, congresses, and marketing activities.

• Collect and assess market insights, customer feedback, and competitor actions.

• Generate market and competitive reports for Sales and Marketing.

• Relay account information, physician preferences, product preferences, and procedural preferences to Sales and Marketing.


⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in a scientific, medical, or technical discipline.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred, though not mandatory.

• Medical background or qualification as Medizinprodukteberater according to MPG is advantageous.

• Extensive experience in an electrophysiology technical position, ideally with a minimum of 5 years.

• Familiarity with catheterization laboratory and operating room procedures and protocols.

• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.

• Experience in designing and delivering training programs.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a commitment to supporting Abbott's products both technically and from a sales standpoint.

• Proficient in computer utilization and presentation skills.

• Competence with MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and email applications.

• Fluent in both German and English.

• Willingness to travel extensively.
