Clinical Data Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary data manager for one or multiple projects or provide support to the lead data manager.

• Oversee data management tasks for specific, low-volume/complexity studies with guidance from senior team members.

• Act as a liaison between departments and clients regarding data management activities related to the study.

• Implement project protocol elements into daily operations and guide others in their implementation.

• Communicate with the Project Lead and/or client and provide updates to management about data management activities.

• Create and sustain data management project documentation files.

• Conduct independent reviews of data management deliverables in accordance with established CDM guidelines.

• Design and present study-specific training for data management project personnel.

• Generate regular status reports specific to the project and track study metrics.

• Support business development efforts, including bid preparation and participation in bid defense meetings as necessary.

• Aid in project forecasting, identifying resource needs, recognizing out-of-scope activities, and managing Contract Modification processes.

• Provide mentorship to junior staff on tasks related to the study.

• Assist in the administrative and financial oversight of assigned projects.

• Carry out designated data management tasks independently and efficiently, focusing on quality.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent formal academic/vocational qualification.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience demonstrating the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for the role.

• An appropriate combination of education, training, and/or related experience may be considered as an equivalent qualification.

• Capability to apply knowledge and skills while following regulatory guidelines, SOPs, and client expectations.

• Proficiency in using interactive computer programs.

• Strong command of the English language, including grammar.

• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong organizational, analytical/problem-solving skills, along with attention to detail.

• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

• Capacity to maintain confidentiality regarding clinical and client proprietary information.

• Strong customer orientation and exceptional interpersonal skills.

• Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances.

• Ability to collaborate in a team setting as well as work independently when required.

• Capacity to train and guide study teams.

• Skill in establishing and adhering to timelines, or recognizing and accommodating changes in response to project demands.
