This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Classify, code, summarize, interpret, and calculate registry/case information derived from patient medical records.
β’ Ensure the precise submission of data to designated registries or measure data repositories.
β’ Prioritize and organize multiple tasks simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines.
β’ Manage expectations, highlight challenges, and suggest prompt solutions.
β’ Navigate electronic medical records and tools for registry/case entry.
β’ Resolve technical issues related to systems and applications.
β’ Contribute to team best practices, data dictionaries, abstraction guidelines, and business rule documentation.
β’ Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency in tasks and procedures.
β’ Stay informed about mandated regulatory and publicly reported data requirements.
β’ Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
β’ Complete up to six months of specialized on-the-job training at the Q-Centrix Institute prior to joining a client services team.
β’ Direct experience in emergency room care, bedside care, medical scribing and coding/billing, or quality information systems.
β’ Familiarity with various patient medical record systems (EMRs) and clinical databases.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
β’ Skillful in navigating search engines and multitasking across different applications.
β’ Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
β’ High standards for precision and attention to detail.
β’ Technically savvy with a willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
β’ Capability to work independently and take ownership of projects/patient records.
β’ Effective communication skills for collaboration with hospital partners, peers, team leads, and others.
β’ Excellent self-organization and time management abilities.
β’ Ability to manage multiple accounts and adapt to changing timelines, requirements, and project assignments.
β’ Responsibility for maintaining the security and confidentiality of PHI.
β’ Up to 6 months of on-the-job training through Q-Centrix Institute (QCI).
β’ Collaborative team environment.
β’ Meaningful work contributing to patient outcomes and research.
