Clinical Data Review Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist the Clinical/Medical Laboratory Scientist Data Review team.

• Engage with both internal and external clients through phone and electronic means to acquire or relay missing details regarding submitted test samples.

• Monitor sample collection kits and respond to inquiries about test status.

• Revise internal databases to reflect the progress of test development.

• Add annotations to LIMS cases.

• Support CLS/MLS Data Reviewers by addressing questions from clinics and customer support.

• Coordinate requests for report releases from Genetic Counselors and Customer Support.

• Process information necessary for patient genetic testing samples, reports, and billing.

• Maintain shared spreadsheets and carry out clerical duties.

• Manage protected health information in both paper and electronic formats.

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Temporary role for a duration of 6 months.

• At least 2 years of experience in customer service or clerical roles.

• Familiarity with Google Mail and Google Documents.

• Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite.

• Basic typing skills with a strong command of spelling and grammar.

• Capacity to maintain professional communication with customers.

• Ability to operate a computer keyboard, converse via telephone, and read printed materials.

• Required to complete HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedure Compliance, and security training within the first 30 days of employment.

• Must stay current with Natera training requirements.

• A two-year degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

• Previous experience in problem analysis and problem-solving is preferred.

• Experience in data collection and maintenance is preferred.
