Clinical Coordinator, Radiologic Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Develop the clinical education segment for Stepful's Radiologic Technology A.A.S. program.

• Integrate clinical and theoretical education while assessing their alignment each term.

• Perform and document pre-placement assessments of potential partner facilities.

• Achieve accreditor recognition for clinical environments and uphold clinical affiliation agreements.

• Appoint clinical preceptors at accredited locations.

• Establish student clinical placements and manage scheduling.

• Ensure equitable access to mobile, surgical, and trauma procedures.

• Maintain a 1:1 student-to-clinical-staff ratio and limit clinical involvement to ten hours per day.

• Introduce students to each clinical site.

• Enforce requirements for direct and indirect supervision as well as radiation safety protocols.

• Distribute student radiation exposure reports within thirty school days.

• Complete MRI safety screenings prior to clinical experiences.

• Onboard, train, and support clinical preceptors.

• Monitor clinical competency progression and track completed clinical hours.

• Provide clinical advisement and develop remediation strategies.

• Contribute clinical evidence for accreditation reports, filings, and site visits.

• Engage in systematic assessment and annual analysis of clinical outcomes data.

• Participate in didactic and/or clinical instruction.

• Stay updated on professional developments through ongoing education.

• Travel to partner sites for evaluations, preceptor training, clinical visits, student advisement, and accreditation assessments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Reliable access to a major airport and willingness to travel to Texas.

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an institution accredited by a recognized agency by the U.S. Secretary of Education or CHEA.

• Current ARRT R.T.(R) certification.

• Valid Texas GMRT certificate from the Texas Board of Medical Radiologic Technology.

• Minimum of two years' clinical experience in radiography.

• At least one year of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT-accredited program.

• Expertise in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising.

• Familiarity with the JRCERT Standards for an Accredited Educational Program in Radiography and ABHES clinical experience requirements, or a willingness to learn.

• Previous experience as a clinical coordinator or clinical instructor in a JRCERT-accredited radiography program is advantageous.

• Experience managing clinical education across various sites or health systems is a plus.
