Clinical Audit Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform clinical audits, risk evaluations, and process assessments to uncover compliance gaps and areas for enhancement.

• Assess compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards across various healthcare organizations.

• Oversee multiple client projects and deliverables concurrently.

• Collaborate with internal teams and healthcare clients to facilitate successful project implementation.

• Develop and sustain strong client relationships by providing responsive and consultative support.

• Prepare and deliver audit findings, risk evaluations, and recommendations to clinical, operational, and executive leadership.

• Track project timelines and ensure that deliverables are completed accurately and punctually.

• Communicate effectively through detailed reports, presentations, and stakeholder engagement.

• Contribute a clinical perspective to audit team initiatives.

• Offer independent yet collaborative services to senior leadership within healthcare organizations, including the CNO, CMO, CFO, and Board of Directors.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of an associate or bachelor's degree in a related field.

• Relevant licensure or certification, such as Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Licensed Vocational Nurse.

• At least 5 years of clinical experience in a healthcare environment.

• Proficiency in electronic medical records systems, including Cerner, EPIC, or comparable platforms.

• Experience with regulatory compliance within a healthcare quality department or risk management and/or conducting quality self-audits at the departmental level.

• Knowledge of clinical practice fundamentals, including patient placement, assessments, treatment, care planning essentials, scope of practice modalities, infection prevention, patient safety, patient rights, and patient experience.

• Willingness and capacity to travel up to 50% of the time.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
