Clinical Applications Specialist – Mid-Western Territories

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Execute on-site installations of ScottCare cardiac monitoring systems at hospitals and clinics.

• Deliver thorough and structured training for clinical end-users and personnel at all levels.

• Pre-stage, configure, and validate products to ensure installations and clinical readiness.

• Collaborate with hospital IT teams to ensure network and clinical readiness.

• Tailor training content to meet site-specific clinical, technical, or administrative requirements.

• Promote optimal product usage according to clinical needs.

• Provide both remote and in-person technical support for equipment and operational challenges.

• Conduct basic system repairs and guide customers on proper usage and maintenance.

• Offer post-installation support both remotely and on-site.

• Work alongside Sales, Customer Service, Engineering, QA/RA, and Product teams on complex installations, upgrades, demonstrations, enhancements, and field feedback.

• Keep customers informed on installation status, updates, and resolutions.

• Record and escalate complaints in accordance with FDA regulatory guidelines.

• Assist in the development of training programs and initiatives for product improvement.

• Support service projects, including software updates, tower installations, and customizations when not in the field.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required, with preferred majors including Biomedical Engineering, Exercise Physiology, or Computer Science.

• Minimum of 2 years in Field Technical Support or Sales.

• At least 2 years of experience in Cardiac Rhythm Management (clinical or technical).

• Proven history of success in clinical support or sales.

• Solid understanding of cardiac monitoring, rhythm management, or biomedical systems.

• Proficiency with medical software, device troubleshooting, and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to quickly assess issues and propose effective, sustainable solutions.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.

• Experience working cross-functionally with sales, service, and engineering teams.

• Highly self-motivated with outstanding time management and accountability.

• Willingness to undertake extensive overnight travel (75–80%).

• Must be capable of working in hospital/clinical settings and provide remote support from a home office.
