This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Serve as the main customer liaison for generating sales demand.
• Implement marketing strategies and promote Sobi products as instructed by the Regional Sales Director.
• Offer up-to-date and thorough clinical knowledge of Sobi products.
• Articulate the on-label clinical advantages of the products.
• Carry out marketing strategies outlined in the Plan of Action.
• Deliver branded sales communications to clients.
• Represent Sobi at local gatherings.
• Meet or surpass sales objectives for the designated territory.
• Advocate for Sobi products and services to a specific customer demographic.
• Create and expand sales within a particular geographical region.
• Encourage the appropriate usage of Sobi products among healthcare professionals while adhering to Corporate, PhRMA, and OIG regulations.
• Formulate and execute business plans for the territory.
• Analyze weekly territory sales data to focus on physician targeting and maintain accurate physician records.
• Develop budget plans for customer interactions, local symposiums, and external expenses.
• Identify and address challenges and opportunities.
• Maintain proactive communication with sales and marketing leadership.
• Report adverse events to Sobi’s Drug Safety department.
• Conduct administrative duties, including reporting call activities/customer information and submitting expenses.
• Collaborate across functions in a matrix environment.
• Travel within the assigned territory, which may include overnight stays and some weekends.
• Reside within the designated territory.
• Hold a BA/BS degree in business or a scientific field.
• Possess strong relationships, networks, and familiarity with hospital systems in the area.
• Have a solid understanding and proven experience in the GPO market segment.
• Preferred 3–5 years of experience in the rare disease sector.
• Preferred 3–5 years of experience with oral medications, specialty pharmacies, and HUBs.
• A minimum of 5 years of dedicated hospital sales experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology sector.
• At least 3 years of specialty sales experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in biologics sales using a specialty pharmacy, or 8 years of dedicated hospital sales experience.
• Familiarity with transition of care/patient journey processes from hospitals to outpatient settings.
• Proven track record of high sales achievement.
• Experience with single-source pharmacies, reimbursement programs, managed care, and formulary processes.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively across a large assigned territory.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory, including overnight stays, up to 40–50% in some instances; another statement indicates 25–30%.
• Must reside in or near the geographic territory; relocation assistance will not be provided.
• Working knowledge of oral medications, HUBs, specialty pharmacies, and Part D reimbursement.
