This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Act as the strategic leader for the Roanoke, Virginia region.
• Create and implement a detailed territory business plan that aligns with brand strategy and meets local customer needs.
• Establish reliable relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Conduct compliant, customer-centered engagements utilizing scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide coordinated experiences for customers.
• Assess territory performance through data analysis, customer insights, and business analytics.
• Enhance execution throughout the territory.
• Uphold integrity, compliance, and professionalism in all customer interactions.
• Complete necessary AbbVie training and adhere to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
• Continuously advance clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Support brand objectives and business targets for CLL and NHL oncology products.
• Report to the Senior District Manager.
• Over 5 years of sales experience in pharmaceuticals/biotech, medical devices, or diagnostics.
• Strong competitive selling abilities.
• Capacity to thrive in a highly collaborative team environment.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Tenacity and resilience with a proven record in challenging situations.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Capability to operate a personal vehicle or company car/truck.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and fulfill safe driving criteria.
• Frequent business travel by air or car is necessary.
• Compliance with healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Oncology experience, particularly in hematologic malignancies, is preferred.
• Experience in account management is preferred.
• Specialty pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Background in the healthcare industry is preferred.
• People management or other leadership experience is preferred.
• An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
