This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and implement a detailed business plan for the territory that aligns with brand strategies and meets local customer requirements.
• Establish trustworthy relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Provide compliant, customer-centric interactions by leveraging extensive scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Assess territory performance through data, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
• Uphold integrity, compliance, and professionalism in all customer interactions.
• Complete mandatory AbbVie training and comply with company policies and OEC/Legal protocols.
• Continuously enhance clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Act as the strategic leader for the Indianapolis oncology territory, supporting CLL and NHL product goals.
• Report directly to the Senior District Manager.
• Over 5 years of sales experience in pharmaceuticals/biotechnology, medical devices, or diagnostics.
• A strong desire and capability to assume larger roles more quickly than peers.
• Proven competitive selling abilities.
• Capacity to thrive in a highly collaborative team setting.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Tenacity and resilience, with a strong history of success in challenging environments.
• Personal vehicle or company-provided car/truck.
• Valid driver's license.
• Capability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and fulfill safe driving criteria.
• Regular travel for business purposes by air or car.
• Ability to satisfy healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
• Experience in oncology, preferably with hematologic malignancies (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree (preferred).
• Experience in Account Management across any industry (preferred).
• Familiarity with Specialty Pharmacy (preferred).
• Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in patient-facing roles or consulting for healthcare companies (preferred).
• Experience in people management or other leadership roles (preferred).
• MBA or other advanced degrees (preferred).
