
Clinical Account Executive – Oncology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Act as the strategic leader for the designated oncology territory.
• Create and implement a thorough territory business plan that aligns with brand strategy and addresses local customer needs.
• Establish trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Provide compliant, customer-centric engagements by leveraging deep scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to ensure coordinated customer experiences.
• Assess territory performance through data analysis, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
• Uphold integrity, compliance, and professionalism in every interaction with customers.
• Complete all required AbbVie training and comply with company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
• Continuously enhance clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Report directly to the Senior District Manager.
• Travel around 25% of the time.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in pharmaceutical/biotech, medical devices, or diagnostics.
• Strong competitive selling skills.
• Proven ability to thrive in a highly collaborative team setting.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated persistence and resilience with a solid track record of success in challenging environments.
• Valid driver's license and capability to meet safe driving standards.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Capable of undertaking business travel via air or car.
• Must meet healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, which may involve background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in oncology, particularly in hematologic malignancies, is preferred.
• Account Management experience in any field is preferred.
• Specialty Pharmacy experience is a plus.
• Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
• People management or other leadership experience is preferred.
• An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
