
Clinical Account Executive β Oncology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
β’ Act as the strategic leader for the designated territory.
β’ Create and implement a comprehensive business plan for the territory that aligns with brand strategy and meets local customer requirements.
β’ Establish trusting relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
β’ Provide compliant, customer-centric interactions utilizing extensive scientific and clinical knowledge.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive customer experience.
β’ Assess territory performance through data, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
β’ Uphold high standards of integrity, compliance, and professionalism in all customer engagements.
β’ Complete all necessary AbbVie training and comply with company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
β’ Continuously enhance clinical, business, and leadership competencies.
β’ Support brand objectives and business goals for CLL and NHL oncology products.
β’ Report directly to the Senior District Manager.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in pharmaceutical/biotech, medical device, or diagnostics sectors.
β’ A strong desire and capability to assume larger roles more quickly than peers.
β’ Proven competitive selling abilities.
β’ Capacity to thrive in a highly collaborative team setting.
β’ Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
β’ Demonstrated persistence and resilience with a successful background in challenging environments.
β’ Possession of a personal vehicle or company truck.
β’ A valid driver's license.
β’ Ability to pass pre-employment drug tests and meet safe driving standards.
β’ Willingness to travel for business via air or car regularly.
β’ Capability to fulfill healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
β’ Experience in oncology, particularly in hematologic malignancies, is preferred.
β’ A bachelor's degree is preferred.
β’ Experience in account management across any industry.
β’ Familiarity with specialty pharmacy practices.
β’ Background in the healthcare industry, especially in patient interactions or consulting for healthcare companies.
β’ Experience in people management or other leadership roles.
β’ An MBA or other advanced degree is advantageous.
