This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Develop and implement a detailed business plan for the territory that aligns with brand strategy and addresses local customer requirements.
• Establish trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Conduct compliant, customer-centric engagements by leveraging deep scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to provide coordinated experiences for customers.
• Assess territory performance through data analysis, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
• Uphold integrity, compliance, and professionalism during customer interactions.
• Complete mandatory AbbVie training and comply with company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
• Continuously improve clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Act as the strategic leader for the Manhattan, Brooklyn Heights, and surrounding areas.
• Support brand objectives and business goals for CLL and NHL Oncology Products.
• Report directly to the Senior District Manager.
• Travel approximately 25% of the time.
• 5+ years of sales experience in pharmaceuticals/biotech, medical devices, or diagnostics.
• Strong competitive selling abilities.
• Capability to thrive in a highly collaborative team setting.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Tenacity and resilience with a proven history of success in challenging environments.
• Must be able to drive a personal or company vehicle.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving criteria.
• Willingness to travel for business via air or car.
• Must meet healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, which may involve background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunizations/vaccinations.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in oncology, particularly with hematologic malignancies, is preferred.
• Account management experience is preferred.
• Experience with specialty pharmacy is preferred.
• Background in the healthcare industry is preferred.
• Leadership or people management experience is preferred.
• An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
