This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Act as the strategic leader for the designated oncology territory.
• Create and implement a thorough territory business plan that aligns with brand strategy and addresses local customer needs.
• Establish trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Provide compliant, customer-centric engagements leveraging deep scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to ensure a cohesive customer experience.
• Assess territory performance through data analysis, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
• Uphold high standards of integrity, compliance, and professionalism during customer interactions.
• Complete mandatory AbbVie training and follow company policies and OEC/Legal protocols.
• Continually enhance clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Support brand goals and business objectives for CLL and NHL oncology products.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
• Over 5 years of sales experience in the pharma/biotech, medical device, or diagnostics sectors.
• Strong competitive selling abilities.
• Capacity to thrive in a highly cooperative team environment.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Determination and resilience with a proven track record of success in demanding environments.
• Access to a personal vehicle or company car/truck.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Ability to successfully clear a pre-employment drug screening and fulfill safe driving criteria.
• Regular travel for business purposes by air or car.
• Capability to meet healthcare industry representative credentialing standards, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
• Experience in oncology, particularly in hematologic malignancies, is preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in account management across any industry.
• Familiarity with specialty pharmacy.
• Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in patient interaction or consulting for healthcare companies.
• Leadership experience in people management or other capacities.
• An MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
