This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Formulate and implement a detailed territory business strategy that aligns with brand goals and addresses local customer requirements.
• Cultivate reliable relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and significant account stakeholders.
• Provide compliant, customer-centric interactions utilizing extensive scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a unified customer experience.
• Assess territory performance by leveraging data, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
• Uphold integrity, compliance, and professionalism in all customer engagements.
• Complete mandatory AbbVie training while adhering to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
• Continuously enhance clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Act as the strategic leader for the Grand Rapids, Lansing, Saginaw, Michigan, and neighboring territories.
• Report directly to the Senior District Manager.
• Travel approximately 25% of the time.
• Over 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech, medical device, or diagnostics sectors.
• Strong competitive selling abilities.

• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Tenacity and resilience with a proven history of success in demanding environments.
• Access to a personal vehicle or company car/truck.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.
• Willingness to travel for business by air or car.
• Capability to fulfill healthcare industry representative credentialing criteria, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and immunization/vaccination proof.
• Experience in oncology, ideally with a focus on hematologic malignancies (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree (preferred).
• Experience in account management (preferred).
• Background in specialty pharmacy (preferred).
• Experience in the healthcare industry (preferred).
• Leadership experience or people management background (preferred).
• MBA or another advanced degree (preferred).
