This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Formulate and implement a detailed territory business plan that aligns with brand strategy and meets local customer requirements.
• Establish trust-based relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Conduct compliant, customer-centric interactions utilizing extensive scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide unified customer experiences.
• Assess territory performance through data analysis, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
• Uphold the highest standards of integrity, compliance, and professionalism in all customer engagements.
• Fulfill mandatory AbbVie training and comply with company policies as well as OEC/Legal standards.
• Continuously enhance clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Act as the strategic leader for the territory to enhance patient outcomes, further AbbVie's mission, and support oncology product business objectives.
• Report directly to the Senior District Manager.
• Travel approximately 25% of the time.
• Over 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech, medical device, or diagnostics sectors.
• A strong desire and capability to take on larger roles more rapidly than peers.
• Proven competitive selling abilities.
• Capacity to operate effectively within a highly collaborative team environment.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated persistence and resilience with a strong history of success in challenging environments.
• Access to a personal vehicle or company car/truck.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving standards.
• Willingness to travel for business by air or car.
• Must meet healthcare industry representative credentialing criteria, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
• Previous oncology experience is preferred, particularly in hematologic malignancies.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience in Account Management across any industry is a plus.
• Experience with Specialty Pharmacy is desirable.
• Prior experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in patient-facing roles or consulting for healthcare companies, is preferred.
• Experience in people management or other leadership roles is beneficial.
• An MBA or another advanced degree is favored.
