This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

šŸ“‹ Description

• Act as the strategic leader for the designated oncology territory.

• Create and implement a detailed territory business plan that aligns with brand strategy and addresses local customer requirements.

• Establish trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.

• Provide compliant, customer-centric engagements leveraging extensive scientific and clinical knowledge.

• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to ensure coordinated customer experiences.

• Assess territory performance through data, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.

• Uphold integrity, compliance, and professionalism in all customer interactions.

• Complete mandatory AbbVie training and comply with company policies, as well as OEC/Legal procedures.

• Engage in continuous development of clinical, business, and leadership skills.


ā›³ļø Requirements

• Over 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech, medical device, or diagnostics sectors.

• Strong competitive selling abilities.

• Capacity to assume larger roles more quickly than colleagues.

• Proficiency in working within a highly collaborative team environment.

• Superior organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Tenacity and resilience with a proven history in challenging settings.

• Personal vehicle or company car/truck.

• Valid driver's license.

• Capability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.

• Ability to fulfill healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, including potential background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination.

• Willingness to travel for business purposes by air or car.

• Experience in oncology, particularly in hematologic malignancies (preferred).

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).

• Experience in account management (preferred).

• Background in specialty pharmacy (preferred).

• Experience in the healthcare industry (preferred).

• Leadership or management experience (preferred).

• MBA or another advanced degree (preferred).
