This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Act as the strategic leader for the designated oncology territory.
β’ Create and implement a detailed business plan for the territory that aligns with brand strategy and meets local customer needs.
β’ Establish trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
β’ Provide compliant, customer-centric engagements leveraging in-depth scientific and clinical knowledge.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to ensure cohesive customer experiences.
β’ Assess territory performance by utilizing data, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
β’ Uphold integrity, compliance, and professionalism in all customer interactions.
β’ Complete all necessary AbbVie training and adhere to company policies as well as OEC/Legal procedures.
β’ Continuously enhance clinical, business, and leadership competencies.
β’ Support brand objectives and business goals concerning CLL and NHL oncology products.
β’ Report to the Senior District Manager.
β’ Over 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech, medical device, or diagnostics sectors.
β’ Strong competitive selling abilities.
β’ Capacity to thrive in a highly collaborative team setting.
β’ Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
β’ Demonstrated persistence and resilience with a proven record of success in challenging situations.
β’ Personal vehicle or company car/truck.
β’ Valid driver's license.
β’ Capability to pass pre-employment drug screening and fulfill safe driving criteria.
β’ Regular business travel by air or vehicle required.
β’ Ability to satisfy healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, including potential background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
β’ Oncology experience, particularly in hematologic malignancies (preferred).
β’ Bachelor's degree (preferred).
β’ Experience in account management across any industry (preferred).
β’ Specialty pharmacy experience (preferred).
β’ Background in the healthcare industry (preferred).
β’ Leadership or people management experience (preferred).
β’ MBA or another advanced degree (preferred).
