This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Create and implement a detailed business plan for the territory that aligns with brand strategy and meets local customer requirements.
• Establish trustworthy relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Conduct compliant, customer-centric engagements leveraging extensive scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to provide unified customer experiences.
• Assess territory performance through data analysis, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
• Uphold high standards of integrity, compliance, and professionalism in all customer interactions.
• Complete mandatory AbbVie training and adhere to company policies and OEC/Legal guidelines.
• Commit to the continuous development of clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Act as the strategic leader for the territory, promoting CLL and NHL oncology products while improving patient outcomes.
• Report directly to the Senior District Manager.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in pharmaceutical/biotech, medical device, or diagnostics sectors.
• A strong desire and capability to assume larger roles more quickly than peers.
• Proven competitive selling abilities.
• Capacity to thrive in a highly collaborative team environment.
• Outstanding organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated persistence and resilience with a successful track record in challenging settings.
• Access to a personal vehicle or company car/truck.
• A valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and fulfill safe driving criteria.
• Willingness to travel for business via air or car.
• Capability to meet healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience in oncology, particularly with hematologic malignancies.
• Experience in account management across any sector.
• Familiarity with specialty pharmacy.
• Background in the healthcare industry, especially in patient interactions or consulting for healthcare organizations.
• Experience in people management or other leadership positions.
• An MBA or another advanced degree is preferred.
