
Clinical Account Executive – Multiple Myeloma

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Act as the strategic leader for the designated territory.
• Create and implement a detailed business plan for the territory that aligns with brand strategy and meets local customer requirements.
• Establish trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Provide compliant, customer-oriented interactions utilizing extensive scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to ensure integrated customer experiences.
• Assess territory performance through data, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
• Uphold integrity, compliance, and professionalism in all customer engagements.
• Fulfill all required AbbVie training and comply with company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
• Continuously enhance clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Report directly to the Senior District Manager.
• Travel approximately 25% of the time.
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Experience in oncology/hematology is mandatory; experience with Multiple Myeloma is preferred.
• Strong competitive selling abilities.

• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Determination and resilience with a history of success in challenging situations.
• Personal vehicle or company car/truck is required.
• Valid driver’s license is necessary.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.
• Must satisfy healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug screens, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
• Frequent business travel by air or vehicle is expected.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in Account Management is preferred.
• Experience with Specialty Pharmacy is preferred.
• Background in the healthcare industry is preferred.
• Preferred experience in people management or other leadership roles.
• An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
