
Clinical Account Executive, Multiple Myeloma

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Act as the strategic leader for AbbVie’s Multiple Myeloma brand within the Columbus, OH territory.
• Formulate and implement a detailed territory business plan that aligns with brand strategy and meets local customer demands.
• Establish trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key stakeholders in accounts.
• Provide compliant, customer-centric engagements leveraging profound scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure coordinated customer interactions.
• Assess territory performance using data analytics, customer insights, and business intelligence to enhance execution.
• Uphold integrity, compliance, and professionalism in every interaction with customers.
• Fulfill necessary training and comply with company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
• Continuously enhance clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Report to the Senior District Manager.
• Travel approximately 25% of the time.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Required experience in oncology/hematology, ideally with a focus on Multiple Myeloma.
• Strong competitive selling abilities.
• Capacity to function effectively in a highly collaborative team setting.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Persistence and resilience, with a proven success record in challenging situations.
• Access to a personal auto or a company vehicle.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and comply with safe driving standards.
• Willingness to travel regularly by air or car.
• Ability to satisfy healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in Account Management.
• Familiarity with Specialty Pharmacy.
• Background in the healthcare industry, particularly in patient interaction or consulting for healthcare companies.
• Experience in people management or another leadership role.
• An MBA or other advanced degree is desirable.
