
Clinical Account Executive, Multiple Myeloma

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Act as the strategic leader for AbbVie’s Multiple Myeloma brand within the Cleveland, Ohio territory.
• Formulate and implement a detailed territory business plan that aligns with brand strategy and addresses local customer needs.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Provide compliant, customer-oriented engagements utilizing extensive scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to create coordinated customer experiences.
• Assess territory performance through data analysis, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
• Uphold high standards of integrity, compliance, and professionalism in all customer interactions.
• Complete the necessary AbbVie training and comply with company policies, as well as OEC/Legal protocols.
• Commit to continuous development of clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Required experience in oncology/hematology; preferred experience in Multiple Myeloma.
• Proven track record of outstanding sales performance through disciplined execution, accountability, and ownership.
• Strong competitive selling abilities.
• Capability to thrive in a highly collaborative team environment.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated persistence and determination with a history of success in challenging situations.
• Access to a personal vehicle or company car/truck.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and comply with safe driving standards.
• Must meet healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
• Willingness to travel for business by air or car regularly.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in Account Management is preferred.
• Specialty Pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
• Leadership experience or people management is preferred.
• An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
