This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Develop and implement a thorough business plan for the territory that aligns with brand strategy and addresses local customer requirements.
• Establish reliable relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Provide compliant, customer-centric engagements utilizing extensive scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to ensure a cohesive customer experience.
• Assess territory performance by leveraging data, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
• Uphold integrity, compliance, and professionalism during customer interactions.
• Complete all necessary AbbVie training and comply with company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
• Continuously enhance clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Act as the strategic leader for the Detroit territory, reporting to the Senior District Manager.
• Promote the objectives of the Multiple Myeloma brand and business goals while enhancing patient outcomes.
• Over 5 years of experience in sales within the pharma/biotech sector.
• Experience in oncology/hematology is required; preference will be given to those with Multiple Myeloma experience.
• Strong competitive selling abilities.
• Capability to function effectively in a highly collaborative team setting.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated persistence and resilience with a proven history of success in challenging environments.
• Possession of a personal vehicle or company car/truck.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.
• Capacity to fulfill healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
• Frequent business travel by air or car is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in account management is preferred.
• Experience in specialty pharmacy is preferred.
• Previous experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
• Leadership experience or people management is preferred.
• An MBA or another advanced degree is preferred.
