This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop and implement a thorough territory business plan that aligns with brand strategy and addresses local customer needs.
• Establish trustworthy relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Provide compliant, customer-centric engagements utilizing extensive scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to ensure coordinated customer experiences.
• Assess territory performance through data analysis, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
• Uphold integrity, compliance, and professionalism in all customer interactions.
• Complete mandatory AbbVie training and follow company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
• Continually enhance clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Act as the strategic leader within the territory, advancing Multiple Myeloma brand objectives and business aims.
• Report directly to the Senior District Manager.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Experience in oncology/hematology is essential, preferably in Multiple Myeloma.
• Strong competitive selling abilities.
• Capacity to thrive in a highly collaborative team setting.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated persistence and resilience with a proven history of success in challenging environments.
• Access to a personal vehicle or company car or truck.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Capability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.
• Ability to fulfill necessary healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
• Willingness to travel regularly for business, whether by air or car.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Preferred experience in Multiple Myeloma or hematologic malignancies.
• Account management experience in any industry is advantageous.
• Experience in specialty pharmacy is a plus.
• Background in the healthcare industry, particularly involving patient interactions or consulting healthcare companies.
• Experience in people management or other leadership roles.
• An MBA or another advanced degree is preferred.
