
Clinical Account Executive, Multiple Myeloma

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as the strategic leader for AbbVie’s Multiple Myeloma brand within the Riverside-area territory.
• Create and implement a detailed territory business plan that aligns with brand strategy and addresses local customer requirements.
• Establish and maintain trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Provide compliant, customer-centric interactions utilizing extensive scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure coordinated customer experiences.
• Assess territory performance through data analysis, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
• Uphold integrity, compliance, and professionalism in all customer engagements.
• Complete mandatory AbbVie training and adhere to company policies as well as OEC/Legal guidelines.
• Continuously enhance clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Report directly to the Senior District Manager.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Required experience in oncology/hematology, ideally in Multiple Myeloma.
• Proven competitive selling abilities.
• Capacity to thrive in a highly collaborative team environment.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated persistence and resilience with a successful track record in challenging situations.
• Personal vehicle or access to a company car/truck.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Capability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.
• Must fulfill healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
• Willingness to travel for business via air or car.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Preferred background in Multiple Myeloma or hematologic malignancies.
• Experience in Account Management across any industry.
• Familiarity with Specialty Pharmacy is a plus.
• Experience in the healthcare sector, particularly working with patients or consulting for healthcare companies.
• People management or other leadership experience is advantageous.
• An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
