
Clinical Account Executive, Multiple Myeloma

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Act as the strategic leader for the designated Clinical Account Executive territory.
β’ Create and implement a comprehensive business plan for the territory that aligns with brand strategy and meets local customer needs.
β’ Establish and nurture trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
β’ Provide compliant, customer-centric engagements through extensive scientific and clinical knowledge.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to ensure coordinated customer experiences.
β’ Assess territory performance using data, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
β’ Uphold integrity, compliance, and professionalism in every customer interaction.
β’ Complete mandatory AbbVie training and comply with company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
β’ Continuously enhance clinical, business, and leadership skills.
β’ Support the objectives and business goals of the Multiple Myeloma brand.
β’ Travel approximately 25% of the time.
β’ Report directly to the Senior District Manager.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the pharma/biotech industry.
β’ Experience in oncology/hematology is required; experience in Multiple Myeloma is preferred.
β’ Strong competitive selling abilities.

β’ Resilience and determination, with a proven track record of success in challenging settings.
β’ Access to a personal vehicle or company car/truck.
β’ Possession of a valid driver's license.
β’ Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
β’ Willingness to travel regularly by air or car.
β’ Capability to satisfy healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, which may involve background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
β’ A bachelor's degree is preferred.
β’ Experience in account management is preferred.
β’ Experience in specialty pharmacy is preferred.
β’ Previous experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
β’ Experience in people management or other leadership roles is preferred.
β’ An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
