
Clinical Account Executive, Multiple Myeloma

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as the strategic leader for the assigned territory, focusing on AbbVie’s objectives and business goals related to the Multiple Myeloma brand.
• Create and implement a comprehensive business plan for the territory that aligns with brand strategy and meets local customer needs.
• Establish and nurture trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Provide compliant, customer-centric engagements utilizing extensive scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to offer coordinated customer experiences.
• Assess territory performance through data analysis, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
• Uphold high standards of integrity, compliance, and professionalism in all customer interactions.
• Complete all required AbbVie training and adhere to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
• Continuously enhance clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Travel frequently by air or car, with an expected travel commitment of approximately 25%.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience within the pharma/biotech sector.
• Experience in oncology/hematology is essential; familiarity with Multiple Myeloma is preferred.
• Strong competitive selling abilities.

• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated persistence and resilience, with a history of success in demanding environments.
• Personal vehicle or company car/truck available for travel.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Capability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.
• Regular travel for business purposes by air or car.
• Eligibility to fulfill health care industry representative credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in account management is preferred.
• Specialty pharmacy experience is preferred.
• Previous experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
• Leadership experience or people management is preferred.
• An MBA or other advanced degrees are preferred.
