
Clinical Account Executive, Multiple Myeloma

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Act as the strategic leader for the designated territory, focusing on AbbVie’s objectives and business goals related to the Multiple Myeloma brand.
• Create and implement a thorough business plan for the territory that aligns with the brand strategy and meets local customer requirements.
• Establish trustworthy relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Conduct compliant, customer-oriented engagements utilizing extensive scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to provide coordinated experiences for customers.
• Assess territory performance through data analysis, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
• Uphold high standards of integrity, compliance, and professionalism in all customer interactions.
• Fulfill necessary AbbVie training and comply with company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
• Continuously enhance clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Travel frequently by air or car, approximately 25% of the time.
• Fulfill health care industry representative credentialing requirements to access facilities and organizations.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
• Required experience in oncology/hematology, preferably with a focus on Multiple Myeloma.
• Strong competitive selling skills.
• Capability to thrive in a highly collaborative team environment.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated persistence and determination with a proven record of success in challenging settings.
• Ownership of a personal vehicle or access to a company car/truck.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving standards.
• Willingness to travel regularly for business by air or car.
• Capability to meet health care industry representative credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience in Multiple Myeloma or hematologic malignancies is preferred.
• Account Management experience in any field is preferred.
• Experience with Specialty Pharmacy is preferred.
• Background in the healthcare industry, particularly in patient interaction or consulting for healthcare companies, is preferred.
• People management or other leadership experience is preferred.
• An MBA or another advanced degree is preferred.
