This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.
• Act as the strategic leader for AbbVie's Multiple Myeloma brand initiatives and business objectives within the Birmingham territory.
• Design and implement a thorough territory business plan that aligns with brand strategy and meets local customer requirements.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
• Provide compliant, customer-centric engagements utilizing extensive scientific and clinical knowledge.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure seamless customer experiences.
• Assess territory performance through data analysis, customer insights, and business analytics to enhance execution.
• Uphold integrity, compliance, and professionalism in all customer interactions.
• Fulfill mandatory AbbVie training and adhere to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
• Persistently enhance clinical, business, and leadership skills.
• Report directly to the Senior District Manager.
• Travel approximately 25% of the time.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Experience in oncology/hematology is essential, particularly in Multiple Myeloma.
• A strong desire and capability to advance into larger roles more quickly than peers.
• Proven competitive selling abilities.
• Capability to thrive in a highly collaborative team environment.
• Outstanding organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated persistence and resilience with a strong history of success in a demanding environment.
• Access to a personal auto or company vehicle.
• A valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving standards.
• Regular business travel via air or vehicle.
• Compliance with healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization/vaccination.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience in account management across any industry.
• Familiarity with specialty pharmacy operations.
• Experience in the healthcare sector, especially with patient interaction or consulting for healthcare organizations.
• Leadership experience or people management skills.
• An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
