This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Account Executive to strategize on acquiring and retaining both new and existing clients.
• Partner with sales teams to fulfill company objectives and targets.
• Discover opportunities for current customers to utilize Tempus algorithmic tests and additional features.
• Work together on upselling various product offerings.
• Encourage customer adoption of online ordering via Tempus Hub and EMR integrations.
• Identify and nurture prospective oncology client partnerships.
• Foster compliance with web-based molecular information resources.
• Evaluate the competitive landscape and assigned accounts, relaying customer insights to leadership.
• Track sales performance relative to established objectives.
• Develop and execute a detailed territory business plan, which includes budgeting, travel planning, territory management, and goal setting.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with physicians, office staff, and pathology departments.
• Facilitate clinical orders and ensure efficient specimen sendouts and tissue acquisition.
• Maintain regular communication with key accounts.
• Coordinate Medical Affairs report reviews with physicians.
• Manage kit and literature replenishment at accounts.
• Identify and participate in approved local conferences.
• Gather necessary clinical data and progress notes for Tempus-tested patients.
• Embody and represent the Tempus company culture to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Must reside in Cincinnati or its vicinity.
• Bachelor’s degree in biology, life sciences, business, or marketing.
• Over 1 year of relevant industry experience.
• Ability to swiftly grasp pertinent genomic and oncology information.
• Capable of working independently, communicating proactively, managing multiple projects, and prioritizing daily tasks while meeting critical deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of the market, customers, and products.
• Excellent customer service abilities and capacity to connect with healthcare professionals.
• Solid administrative skills and the ability to navigate business in complex environments.
• Experience in sales support within healthcare, preferably in oncology or pathology, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding expectations, or general clinical experience.
• Willingness to travel throughout the territory as required.
