Client Technology Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Direct integrated delivery strategies for client technology projects, encompassing changes, enhancements, defects, regulatory updates, and strategic initiatives.

• Utilize Agile and SDLC methodologies while upholding project governance.

• Supervise implementation and rollout across various technical workstreams.

• Manage risks, dependencies, timelines, priorities, backlog health, resource limitations, and readiness for implementation.

• Ensure that technical solutions conform to best practices and client specifications.

• Decompose complex initiatives into manageable work packages and coordinate team assignments accordingly.

• Act as a subject matter expert on leave administration systems, leave plans, and the design of technical solutions.

• Convert business and operational needs into technical specifications and system configurations.

• Collaborate with clients, delivery teams, governance boards, and third-party vendors to develop scalable solutions and make customization decisions.

• Assist in client acceptance testing and ensure readiness for implementation.

• Lead a collaborative delivery model across Product, Engineering, Configuration, Testing, Integration, and Offshore resources.

• Coordinate domestic and global delivery teams while optimizing the utilization of offshore resources.

• Guide and mentor colleagues in system analysis, configuration, testing, and problem resolution.

• Advocate for continuous improvement, process optimization, standardization, knowledge sharing, and operational excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of Leave Administration products, including plan design, configuration, business processes, and operational workflows.

• Proven experience in leading configuration and technology delivery within a Leave Administration or similar benefits environment.

• Experience in coordinating efforts across Product, Engineering, Configuration, Testing, and Operations teams.

• Experience in managing delivery using Agile and SDLC methodologies.

• Established ability to resolve complex delivery challenges that involve multiple teams and dependencies.

• Successful completion of a background check, if applicable for the role.

• Authorization to work in the employing country without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.

• Capacity to participate in video interviews with the camera on.

• Education, employment, criminal, sanctions/watch-list, credit, and/or drug checks may be necessary depending on the position.
